PTQA is currently recruiting for its eigth cohort, to start their studies in September 2009. Applications for the course are being received but there is still room for more applicants for this well established and nationally recognised course.
There are some changes taking place in the course administration as we will be leaving the Houldsworth School of Engineering and moving to the Faculty of Medicine and Health. Medicine and Health adopt a similar teaching style to PTQA and the combination of PTQA with current health disciplines is anticipated to be mutually supportive. Perhaps for the first time, we will be established in a school within the University of Leeds which has a health care focus. We look forward to the new challenges this may bring.
Our current PTQA Course Director will be fully supporting the existing cohort of students up to the end of their second year of studies. Subsequently we will see some changes but the committment of the University to supporting the continuity of PTQA is recognised. Recruitment for cohort eight is progressing well.
